Painting
I don’t know why I decided to go white with white LEDs on this project, it just sounded good to me. I got some Krylon Fusion gloss white spray paint — seriously, the best paint ever to use on plastics. I will never again paint plastic with anything else, ever. There’s really nothing to note here except I made sure I used even strokes and that I never started spraying directly onto a part I wanted to paint (that can cause splatter — start the spray on your newspaper or dropcloth and then move onto the part you’re painting). I did two rather thick coats. It could actually use a third in some spots, but it was late and I might be a little low on paint for a third coat. I intend to apply another the next time I take the box apart for the IR power on mod.
