Our own Kim Klockow was quoted in a recent Reuters story about the validity of a groundhog’s weather forecast. Unsurprisingly, scientists, meterologists, and even Krazy Klockow are not impressed with the rodent’s skills.
These photos are truly amazing, taken by a helicopter pilot. You see the scale of the city, the beautiful upscale homes and country clubs, the densely packed low-income homes in endless rows, the unique geographical features that the city is built around. Definitely some of the most incredible photographs I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to look.

Google has added a new section to its popular GMail service called Chats. It looks like your GTalk logs will be stored here for easy searching (finally, logging for GTalk!), and eventually you’ll be able to use the GTalk service right in your browser. Looks pretty cool.
The big G is also getting ready to launch GPay, a rival service to PayPal — also a good thing, because PayPal almost has a monopoly on that market and they’re getting to be jerks about it sometimes.
With all this “G”-branding — GMail, GTalk, GPay, etc. — is “G” the new “e”? Or “i”?
