<description>You should also check out Gist (www.gist.com). It works with Outlook as well as Gmail and any other web-based information source (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) combining your contacts with news about them. Let me know if you&#039;d like to try it out.

<description>I have the same problem with email, but have come up with a different solution. I downloaded two applications to help me index and instantly search all of my email (and other files). The first, and more powerful search engine is X1 (http://www.x1.com/resource_center/downloads.html). For $50 per year, this is the best desktop indexer on the market. It indexes my email, .pst files and any other files that I tell it to. In addition, you can run boolean searches to find exactly what you want. The program also allows the user to create favorite searches, so that you can find emails, .pdf files, client matters or whatever is relevant to you instantly.

The second program is Xnobi (http://www.xobni.com/). This is an add-on to Outlook that also indexes all of your emails. It is much faster than Outlooks native search engine.
