Live ammo makes a bad paperweight

Robert Colla, a teacher in California, tried to kill a bug with his paperweight — generally not a bad idea, except this teacher’s paperweight was a 40mm shell he had found while hunting years ago. When he slammed the shell down on the desk, it exploded and took Colla’s hand off with it.

No word on if the bug survived.
